SOEL, in collaboration with Prof. Ni's group at Hunan Normal University, published a paper titled "Cucurbit[8]uril-regulated face-to-face dimerization assembly enhanced photosensitization and photocatalysis" in Science China Chemistry 67,1605 (2024). This research, co-authored by graduate student Zhiyao Zeng from SOEL, explores new applications in photocatalysis.
Zeng’s contributions include the measurement of transient absorption spectroscopy (TAS), confirming the generation of a triplet state through intersystem crossing (ISC) in OME samples.
